Lou Box is a London-based makeup artist, best known for her ability to make skin look like so much more, emphasising each person’s individual beauty.

Lou’s biggest inspiration has always been people’s uniqueness and exploring what works for them. Her obsession with make-up started in her teens where she first purchased a Mary Quant book from a local garden centre and was in awe, this influenced her to study art, and eventually make-up when she realised there was a whole world of creativity waiting for her, and career within it.

Lou hails originally from Yorkshire. She trained in Manchester, before moving to London to pursue the industry. Lou’s ability has taken her on trips around the globe, whilst allowing her to collaborate with world renowned photographers, as well as brands including Mulberry, Breitling, and Mr Porter.  Lou has also contributed to various publications including ELLE UK and US, Harpers Bazaar, and ST Style.

Lou currently resides in London, but can often be found on work trips globally.
